In 1881, during the first years of the Belle Epoque, he took over the innovative Stocker in Galleria Brewery, a caf\u00e9 concert with orchestra and dancers, frequented by important figures of the time, giving the brewery a personal connotation, transforming it into an elegant venue, a mixture of coffee and Restaurant. Immediately it became the living room of art and culture, the Parnassus of the Milanese \u201cscapigliati\u201d, a meeting place for Verdi, Puccini, Mascagni, Toscanini, Eleonora Duse and Sacha Guitry, Gabriele D\u2019Annunzio, Giovanni Verga, and even Tommaso Marinetti, who organized a Futurist cuisine banquet. Since its rebirth, in the Fifties, other great ones run through the corridors and crowd the halls of Savini, an endless list from Maria Callas to Luchino Visconti, Charlie Chaplin, and Grace Kelly.
