He worked in Genoa for a trader importing jute from India, until the bankruptcy. In 1938 he decided to open his own workshop in Milan. In 1945 he married Bruna and gradually the sale of jute, sacks and tarpaulins developed. The State Railways put the old disused tarpaulins of the wagons up for auction, Luciano bought them, cut and modified them. He collected the bags from coffee roasters and equipped the shop with the Necchi and Singer sewing machines. The empty wooden crates of American aid during the war became the floor, shelves and counter of the shop, all handmade by Luciano. <\/em>A specialized glassmaker prepared the beautiful inscription to be placed above the door \u201cEverything for workers\u201d. Rubber boots, raincoats, jackets and then clothes that Bruna personally cut and sewed, until the great boom of the Sixties with the bet on jeans.
