“Lace and Embroidery from the Nineteenth Century to Today,” the exhibition of needlework masterpieces signed by Rita Bargna and Barbara Trestini Trimarchi that took place from May 12 to 26 in Cant\u00f9’s historic center, ended to applause. Great success of the traditional exhibition dedicated to the art of lace and embroidery hosted, as always, in the beautiful courtyards of the town’s lace capital.<\/p>\n

Embroiderer Barbara Trestini Trimarchi’s<\/strong> atelier also opened its doors with a collection of her needlework inspired by Rosa Genoni’s sketches. Among the most interesting are reproductions of the sketches that the designer made inspired by the great masters of art such as Giotto, the great masterpieces of the Renaissance, such as the Leonardesque knot that stands in the Sala delle Asse at the Castello Sforzesco in Milan, and Steiner anthroposophy.<\/p>\n

On Friday, May 24 at 5 p.m. Elisabetta Invernici dialogued with the two artists surrounded by an attentive audience of fans and admirers.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
