Here, everything speaks paper. For 250 years, Milanese clients have relied on Ditta Raimondi di Pettinaroli for their cards, announcements, invitations, prints, and much more: a support with an ivory-white tone, available in various weights, produced exclusively and made from a blend developed in the 1940s by Giuseppe Pettinaroli.
A choice that over time has become a true hallmark.
Founded in 1776, the business has a long and complex history, marked by several changes of ownership.
A turning point came in 1913, when the Raimondi family sold the company to the Pettinaroli family, who have run the shop and workshop ever since \u2013 now in their fourth generation \u2013 preserving a solid, recognizable artisanal approach. The bombings of 1943 destroyed the shop on Corso Vittorio Emanuele II and damaged the premises at Corso Venezia 6. The family lost everything, yet managed to start again thanks to the trust built over the years with clients and suppliers. One emblematic episode tells of an English supplier who, in the postwar period, shipped an entire railcar of antique prints based solely on a promise.
Today, continuity with the past is evident both in the furnishings \u2013 largely original \u2013 and in the working methods. Alongside the sale of antique prints, the workshop produces handcrafted invitations and announcements using lead type or enamel engraving on steel plates. The print shop still operates historic machinery, combining traditional techniques with more contemporary printing solutions to meet diverse needs without ever compromising on quality. <\/em><\/p>\n
