On the set with Lyda Borelli

In the Grassi Artistic Stained Glass Museum, the atmosphere of a Belle Époque photographic set, in the Nadar style, is relived. Surrounded by books, textiles, embroidery and photographs, against the backdrop of polychrome windows and screens. European art movements are traversed, from Eclecticism to Deco via Art Nouveau to Futurism. On the set was actress Carola Colombo as Lyda Borelli, wearing a look carefully designed by make-up artist Franco Ragno for Aldo Coppola, accentuated by precious hats from Gallia and Peter’s historical archives and fixed in image by photographers Isabella Alessandro and Eleonora Ferro, of the Italian Institute of Photography.
