Make Borgo San Gottardo bloom
During autumn 2025 Galleria & Friends has organized within the project “Un Borgo in Città” a series of initiatives to upgrade and enliven the San Gottardo-Meda neighborhood.
First event on Saturday, September 27 titled Open Courtyards in San Gottardo, a walk through the streets with the most beautiful courtyards in typical Milanese style: Via Ascanio Sforza 21, Discovering the courtyard – Corso San Gottardo 18, Fashion in jmonteiro atelier – Corso San Gottardo 15, The ancient roasting house Corso San Gottardo 14, Stories in art and toast with the Borgo San Gottardo Association among poems, notes, songs. With Donatella Massimilla and Gilberta Crispino. Laura Collamati on violin.
Sunday, Oct. 26, walk along Via Meda with visits to the Santa Maria di Caravaggio Shrine, the courtyard at 5 Via Maderno, the al-Wahid Mosque at 9 Via Meda, the Milan Auditorium, and Leonardo’s Locks at the Conchetta.
On Nov. 18-19-20 we went to learn about Le Botteghe di San Gottardo – Meda with a tour of the stores and workshops: ROSARIO VITELLARO, Artistic recycling – VINO VINO since 1921, Discovering the historic winery – L’ALBERO DI JOAN, Working with wood – TAGLIABUE PIANOFORTI, Where music is born – PASTICCERIA CARAVAGGIO, Christmas sweets – FARMACIA SAN GOTTARDO, The ancient galenic preparations – FIORI DI RENATO, Artistic wreaths – MISTER GEL, We make ice cream – ATELIER MIKY DEGNI, Painting with wine.
Finally Christmas in Celebration on Saturday, December 13, with the Living Nativity and actors from Atelier Teatro. In collaboration with the Parish of St. Gotthard on the Course
