Rubinia

Long live love.

Faithful to her artisanal soul, Rubinia now looks forward, researching new ethical materials, but always promoting the culture of “well-made,” as she explains in her biography. Since 1985.

After celebrating its first forty years, Rubinia, an emblematic example of Milanese goldsmith craftsmanship, continues to stand out for its values: loyalty to tradition but also the pursuit of innovation, creativity and quality, as well as environmental responsibility and social solidarity. Rubinia was the first gold company in Italy to declare that 100 percent of its production uses recycled and certified gold and silver, as well as diamonds. Even the packaging, made from fine materials such as AppleSkin, follows ethical and contemporary criteria. And there are numerous social engagement programs supported. The heart of the company has been beating in the historic Via Vincenzo Monti since 1985: here store, workshop and creative area coexist, where the protagonists are Roberto Ricci together with his daughter Francesca. In Rubinia everything comes from “doing well with your hands,” as Grandma Ilde recommended to Roberto as a child: “Do things with a thread of love.” And from listening to the client, because each piece of jewelry is born from a personalized project that tells the emotions, memories, and desires of the person who will wear it. Indeed, the extraordinary archive of punches, a remarkable variety of seals and engraving possibilities, as well as the wide selection of diamonds and gemstones, allow the object to be embellished with exclusive and inimitable symbolic meaning. Out of this inspiration came the iconic Filodellavita® lines-in 2007-and Filodamore® in 2000. Rings, bracelets, earrings and seals created by authentic “jewelry tailors.” Today Filodellavita® and Filodamore® are present throughout Italy through a network of more than 350 retailers, and in France, in 80 stores. The wealth of experiences, adventures, successes and dreams that characterizes Rubinia’s first 40 years has finally inspired a choral book, interesting for those who want to share the events, faces and challenges of a beautiful and exciting example of Made in Italy.
