Today, it remains a meeting point, both local and global, thanks to its three spaces: the Bar di Passo, the Sala Spiritello, and the Sala Gaspare. On the ground floor, the Bar di Passo, opened in 1915, still retains the characteristic Art Nouveau style typical of the early 20th century. In 2019, Studio Lissoni Associati oversaw a conservative restoration aimed at enhancing its uniqueness: a large wooden counter, chandeliers, and tables and chairs on the outdoor terrace. On the first floor, the Sala Spiritello, designed for a more intimate experience, is embellished with the original Spiritello, a work by painter and illustrator Leonetto Cappiello, who created it in 1921. Here, the art of mixology comes to life under the expert guidance of Camparino bartenders, accompanied by a cocktail pairing experience that offers taste sensations and unexpected and fascinating flavor combinations. The ambience is modern and elegant: the room’s wood paneling is characterized by floor-to-ceiling pillars, while traditional wooden seats with velvet cushions are lined up beneath the large arched windows on the Galleria side. Unveiled in late 2023, Sala Gaspare is the ultimate celebration of the genius of Gaspare Campari and a sanctuary of mixology, where the history of the Campari brand intertwines with that of the city of Milan, blending together in a modern style: a welcoming and intimate space where you can enjoy an exclusive experience of the world and heritage of Campari. The meticulously crafted cocktail list draws inspiration from the unique aromas and rare ingredients Gaspare used to create his bitters, cordials, and vermouth, and features time-honored cocktails drawn from historic recipe books.
