The right accessory, at the right time, in the right place: style rules for her and for him signed by De Wan.
You pass and stop. Oh yes, even if your wardrobe is full, when you enter De Wan you realize that you are always missing something, that touch, that frill, that detail that makes the difference: the color block shoulder bag, the glasses that glisten, the coco-bag so well worn by Astrid Ericsson, the scarf with the Milan skyline interpreted by Carolina Dovera and the scarf like the one worn by Nimai, a beautiful intern … They all love to be immortalized by Bruno Colombo. And then there is the round of Hiridee pearls as you saw around the neck of the countess friend, animator of the Milanese salons and assiduous frequenter of the boutique. De Wan is a guarantee of far-sightedness and vision in the world of fashion, because it has always anticipated new trends, since 1955, when Erika De Wan, opening a refined boutique in Turin in the central Piazza Castello, made Italian women discover the secret charm of bijoux, the fantasy jewels launched all over the world by the divas of American cinema and the precious collection of “The jewels of the Queen” inspired by the sets of the House of Savoy. Today the company designs, manufactures and markets its own collections, available in the elegant offices of Milan, Turin and Monte-Carlo and at authorized dealers, which are the reference point for those who love to give – and treat themselves – an emotion through objects with a unique and unmistakable style.
Each De Wan creation is characterized by careful workmanship in compliance with an artisan tradition that is the basis of Italian success in the world.
Recently the scarf designed for the Italian Cavalry has entered the Historical Museum of the Cavalry in Pinerolo. Among the scarves of the new collections, the one made in a numbered series bears the emblematic title Ripartenza, “with the hope that it will not only be economic but also social for the nation”, says Roberto De Wan, always present in the beloved shop in via Manzoni 44, where it is also possible to admire his original paintings.
