The Cotti Winehouse starts in 1952 when Luigi falls in love with the place and decides to start the wine business. The furniture is in authentic Liberty style and dates back to 1906. The serving counter is remained until 1987, when it was not yet the fashion of Wine Bars and clubs has exploded many stopped to drink and chat famous people, illustrious journalists of the near Corriere della Sera, painters, sculptors, poets and musicians. When Luigi and Tina passed away, the activity continued with his son Giorgio and his wife Michela with their daughter Eleonora, fifth generation in wine sector. Next to them is Marina, faithful collaborator for over thirty years. The wine shop has always tried to promote Italian wine and above all the vines indigenous. They have been offering for over seventy years a selection of wines from various regions that they are bottled at the origin by different manufacturers with custom label Cotti wine shop. Great space is dedicated to sweet and savory gastronomic specialties – including Krumiri Rossi – with Italian liqueurs, to those from all over the world and to Champagnes. Giorgio Cotti is happy to remember that “among the various awards received, makes us particularly proud the Ambrogino assigned to us by Mayor Letizia Moratti in 2007”.
