The 160th anniversary of the Gallery
Since its inauguration a stage for events and personalities in the pink and even black news, and a major player in international history since the second half of the 1800s, Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II now relives the height of global popularity as a must-see destination for tourists arriving from all over the world. But there is an all-Milanese heart that must continue to beat as a place of tradition, remembrance, and Milanese identity.
At 160 years since the laying of the foundation stone , appointment on Friday, March 7 in the Galleria where, waiting for us, will be the owners of our Shops with guests, stories, surprises, toasts and selfies in a party that will end in the evening in the concert hall of theFriends of the Loggione Association of the Teatro alla Scala in Via Silvio Pellico 6 where we will be guests at the performance of the Duo Gardel, “Tango Apasionado” with Gianluca Campi on accordion and Claudio Cozzani on piano. Music by R. Galliano, C. Gardel, J. Petersburski, A. Piazzolla. Performance by Graziana Martin.
A musical choice not at all coincidental given that the first official mention of this dance appears precisely in the columns of an Argentine newspaper dated 1866: needless to say, it was Italian emigrants who animated this movement of music, dance and style.
