Orologeria Sangalli since 1900

Cucque watches for all tastes, since 1900

The pleasure of being like children among the cuckoo and clocks filling a shop with historic furnishings, where you can feel the real passion for craftsmanship.

Entering the Sangalli watch shop, you become a child again, attracted in an irresistible way by the automatic devices that animate cuckoo clocks with characters, scenes truly spectacular. The historic shop in Via Bergamini, which has its roots in 1900, opened by Egidio Casini, is a triumph of clicking and sounds. After a few years spent in via Verri, the business moved to the definitive location where it miraculously survived the bombing of the war. In the sign of the continuity between past, present and future, and creator of so many master watchmakers who have found formations among its walls, today the watchmaking has reached its fourth generation. In the 1920s, the founder’s grandson, Egidio Campana, joined the company, and it was in 1970 that a further generational change took place, when Giuliano Sangalli, Egidio’s nephew, was added as a partner. Giuliano cultivates, from a very young age, the passion for gears, which still keeps him in command of the activity, now shared with his sons Andrea and Davide. The shop still maintains the original furnishings of the rooms, from the wooden wardrobe with glass doors to the display of the clocks, to the ‘study’ where past and present return to intertwine, thanks to the ancient wall paneling, to the ceiling fully decorated drawers.
