Arnaldo Chierichetti opened his optician’s shop in 1914, on the eve of the First World War.
Arnaldo’s life is full of very suggestive stimuli, such as his sporting militancy in the Canottieri Milano of which he was a part. After her Arnaldo came her daughter Elda, a woman of enormous charisma, who still today everyone in the shop remembers as a figure to be feared and respected for the strength with which she has always known how to impose herself. Elda spent seventy years of her life behind this counter, deserving the most prestigious honors: the Golden Ambrogino and the title of Cavaliere del Lavoro. The grandchildren Silvia and Alberto Mollo have taken over the business since 2015, and now Silvia, together with the store manager Cristian, who has been here since 2000, continues the family tradition.
