Over one hundred years of history of craftsmanship and authentic made in Italy make Taurus a guarantee of absolute quality in the world of two wheels. Since 1908, Taurus Italian bicycles are designed to satisfy those who make beauty and of attention to detail the foundations of one’s style of life. Founded by engineers Vittorio and Umberto Fabbri, the Taurus is completely made in Italy, in the Milan factory located in the Vigorelli area.
The first models stand out for quality and elegance, with features highly connotative techniques, such as rod brakes and the curvilinear pedals characterized by the typical six blocks, hallmark of the most luxurious and avant-garde models for the era. At the first historic shop in Milan, located in Piazza of the Republic, the new point was added in 1945 sale of Via Maiocchi. In the mid-1950s the brothers Fabbri sell the company and the brand to
Mr. Fassi, who he had already been dealing with bicycles for decades. These are the years of economic boom and Taurus expands its offer, dedicating itself also to the production of motorcycles and by transferring the production in the Vanzaghello plant, near Milan. After going through the history of the protagonist ‘900, in 2017 Taurus is renewed, moving from mechanics of rod brakes to the sustainability of the movement electric, to propose creations with a contemporary trait, capable of innovating the world of two wheels without ever forget one’s roots.
