
The ceremony for the distribution of the Silver Vineyard Award – Milan 2023 Edition was held on Friday, May 19, at 5:30 p.m., at the Sala Alessi in Palazzo Marino, seat of the City Hall, in Piazza della Scala.
The prize, represented by one of the symbols of the Apulian territory, the vine plant precisely, made by Lecce master Ugo Malecore, has since 2011 been awarded to personalities from culture, entertainment, institutions and civil society who have contributed to the growth of the country.
Among those honored at the Lombard event: Teatro alla Scala prima ballerina Nicoletta Manni, fashion designers Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana, Senate Vice President Gian Marco Centinaio, journalist Paolo del Debbio, university lecturer and Striscia la notizia correspondent Davide Rampello, head of the Thoracic Surgery Operating Unit in Humanitas Marco Alloisio, and Accademia del Profumo president Ambra Martone.
The ceremony was conducted by Elisabetta Invernici and Alberto Oliva, who have long been active in Milan with cultural initiatives, and founders of the Galleria & Friends Historic Shops network.
Since last year, the Vigna d’Argento Prize now has three venues, Lecce-Rome-Milan, in an ideal path from the south, to the center, to the north.
After May 19 in MILAN, in fact, the 2023 edition of the Vigna d’Argento Award will stop in LECCE on June 24 and in ROME on September 21, with more and more new personalities ready to be honored.
