The ceremony of delivery of the 2024 edition premiums took place at the Sala Alessi of Palazzo Marino, home of the Municipality, in Piazza della Scala in Milan.
Political and entrepreneur have been awarded: Letizia Moratti, Ugo Cilento Patron of the Historical Family enterprise, the Ciles Cilento 1780, Simonetta di Pippo Astrophysics, Giovanna Iannantuoni rector of the University of Milan-Bicocca, Ugo Pastorino Director of the complex structure of Thoracic surgery of the IRCCS Foundation National Cancer Institute of Milan, Lella Costa Actress, writer and voice actress, Giuseppe Marotta Sports Manager, Mena Marano CEO of Arav Group, Pasquale Seddio President of the Opera Cardinal Ferrari Onlus. The ceremony will be conducted by Elisabetta Invernici and Alberto Oliva, which has long been active in Milan with cultural initiatives and founders of the network of the ancient Galleria&Friends shops.
Organized by the Salento Association “Città della Musica” chaired by Pino Lagalle, creator and patron of the initiative, since 2011 the Vigna d’Argento prize, the work of the sculptor Ugo Malecore represents one of the symbols of Puglia and Italy, that is, the plant of the Lives that tells of passion, effort, work and industriousness of our territory. The Milanese and Roman editions take place with the collaboration of various organizations including the associations of the Apulians and Galleria&Friends. The whole Unitalia project is sponsored by the Ministry of Culture.
