Organized by the Salento association “City of Music” chaired by Pino Lagalle, creator and patron of the initiative, since 2011 the Vigna d’Argento Award, a work by sculptor Ugo Malecore represents one of the symbols of Apulia and Italy that is the vine plant that tells of passion, toil, work and industriousness of our territory. The Silver Vineyard Award is, indeed, an award that comes from Puglia to give credit to women and men of excellence. For several years now, the Vigna d’Argento Award, which in 2024 celebrates its tenth edition in the territory where it was born, Salento, has been for all intents and purposes a national project entitled “UNITALIA: culture-tradition-identity., now presenting itself with three venues, Lecce-Rome-Milan, in an ideal path from the south, to the center, to the north.”
The Milan and Rome editions are held with the collaboration of various organizations including the Pugliesi Associations and Galleria&Friends. The entire UNITALIA project is sponsored by the Ministry of CULTURE.
