Located in one of the most beautiful Art Nouveau buildings in Milan, the grocery store offers rare and sought-after products for those in search of particular flavours.
The building in which the Grossi grocery is located dates back to 1909 and is one of the symbols of the liberty style architecture of the early twentieth century, as are the high shelves that entirely cover the walls of the shop, great valuable furniture that probably They are of those same years and still resist unchanged with their dark and intense color that gives the environment a magical flavor. The counter with the transparent windows full of lycornie is original of the 1950s, to testify to the passage of deliveries from the first owner – Mr. Vergani of Braulio – to Dr. Gaetano de Gaudenzi, who successfully leads him until 1978 when Vittorino Grossi takes over, which gives its name to the exercise, passed in 2010 in the hands of the son Alfredo.
