Some men go through life in pursuit of quality and a desire to grow; they are men driven by great passion, love of work and tradition.
This was Jolando Faravelli, founder, along with his wife Rosetta, of what is now Faravelli World. Jolando and Rosetta, with their determination, dedication to work and foresight started their business in 1957. Jolando, being the son of ranchers, was very familiar with the products he sold: he knew exactly how the animals were raised, knew all the steps in the production chain, and carefully chose personally the meat to offer his customers. His tenacity was recognized by the City of Milan, which awarded him the prestigious “Ambrogino d’Oro” in 1997, recognizing his lifelong commitment.
Consumption has changed over time, but the pursuit of excellence remains Faravelli’s goal, along with his relationship with the public, his ability to listen to them and understand their needs, an added and unavoidable value in this increasingly virtual age. Over the years, the butcher shop has been joined by delicatessen, wine shop, orchard, deli and catering. Today the baton has passed to sons Roberto and Daniele, but the family philosophy remains unchanged: to offer excellence with a smile.
