Founded in 1936, Vibrostop has established itself as one of the more dynamic companies specialized in design and construction of vibration, shock and noise insulators in rubber-metal. The development immediately focused on original products, of high quality, in which performance and reliability were paramount.
Already in the 1940s, during the Second World War, every unit of the Italian Navy had installed on board the Vibrostop anti-vibration mounts.
The vibes are mechanical oscillations that occur around a point balance and represent a phenomenon sought in many cases, as in the operation of musical instruments. Often, however, they are not desired as much as they can disperse energy and create annoying sounds and noises. The goal of Vibrostop is precisely to design and create devices of excellent quality and high performance with the aim of reducing or canceling the vibratory motion, such as rubber or steel cable or spring vibration dampers metallic. The fields of application range from means transport to the defense sector (with systems installed on board land and air vehicles), from aerospace to shipbuilding up to leisure time (tools music, gym equipment, cameras and video cameras installed on mobile vehicles) and the protection of artworks in museums.
